Fine Art Guild Commended Level.

All of our work is carried out to the Fine Art Trade Guild Commended Level. We hold great importance in the quality of our frames. A frame should be an extension of the art, complementing and conserving the piece.

Taking you through

our process.

We pride ourselves in the level of detail during our initial consultation stage. With our extensive range of moulding samples, and ever expanding styles and materials, we look forward to going into detail with you, finding the best and most suitable look for your art. Different projects present different challenges, we will advise you using our knowledge and experience on what we feel may be the best combination of frame and mount; this together with your own particular style will help us create the perfect frame.

"An old favourite superbly re-framed! Thanks Gary - great job."

Creating the perfect

frame for your art.

All of our framing techniques are in accordance with the Fine Art Trade Guild to a Commended Level. This means we visually enhance your artwork and offer protection from airborne pollution and acid damage for around 5 years. Mouldings will be fit for purpose and will compliment the subject. We use 1400 micron conservation board, which is 300 microns above the minimum requirement and PH neutral tapes, minimising the risk of damage. We use high quality glass, ranging from 2mm to 3mm float glass, through to Museum UV protected non reflective glass and Conservation Back Board, which again minimises moisture damage and is an acid free craft backing board. All hanging fittings are appropriate for the weight of the artwork so that your frame is guaranteed to last.

"A big thanks to Gary for framing our odd

sized picture. He did an amazing job."

The finishing

touches.

We assemble each frame in as pollutant free an environment as possible, each frame is sealed and strung using the most appropriate and suitable materials for each individual project. If you require a more permanent solution we will finish your work using plain plates for mounting ensuring your frame remains on the wall. Natural wood frames can be finished in a variation of stains, dyes and polishes, each of which have unique properties that accentuate the natural beauty of your framing material.

"My print of me by the E49 in Shetland is

now framed and on the wall, it looks fab."

Longevity through

quality and care.

It's important to us that not only does your art stand the test of time, but your frames look beautiful as well as functional. We use a wide range of high quality materials and skill sets in order to fulfil this promise.

"I am passionate about providing a

high quality, affordable framing

service"
